US Highway 70 runs west to east through Havelock. New Bern is only a 20 minute westerly drive. Morehead City and the beaches of North Carolina’s “Crystal Coast” are a 15 or 20 minute drive east. For hiking and camping enthusiasts, Havelock is adjacent to the Croatan National Forest.
